Book Review Of “The Two Lila Bennetts” By Liz Fenton And Lisa Steinke @AmazonPub

Lila Bennett’s bad choices have finally caught up with her. And one of those decisions has split her life in two. Literally.

In one life, she’s taken hostage by someone who appears to be a stranger but knows too much. As she’s trapped in a concrete cell, her kidnapper forces her to face what she’s done or be killed. In an alternate life, she eludes her captor but is hunted by someone who is dismantling her happiness, exposing one secret at a time.

Lila’s decorated career as a criminal defense attorney, her marriage, and her life are on the line. She must make a list of those she’s wronged—both in and out of the courtroom—to determine who is out to get her before it’s too late. But even if she can pinpoint her assailant, will she survive? And if she does, which parts of her life are worth saving, and which parts must die? Because one thing’s for certain—life as Lila Bennett knew it is over

Thank you to Liz and Lisa who gifted me a copy of their book in exchange of an honest review. Also, Thank you to Amazon Pub and Little Bird Publicity for gifting me a finished copy.

I rate this book a 4 out of 5 Stars.

Just when I think these ladies can’t write a book better than their last, they prove me wrong. Loved this format, and I loved trying to guess which Lila was going to persevere. Lila was a pretty terrible person in both viewpoints, but I do think that I liked “Free” Lila better.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who had captured Lila, and I never even came close to figuring it out, my mind went the predictable route, so I am glad I was proven wrong.

One thing I love about Liz and Lisa’s books is that they read so fast, and they are so highly addictive. Once I start them, I know to block out the rest of my day, because everything takes the backseat. I cannot wait for the next one, and hopefully I am fortunate enough to review that one too. Also, if you don’t follow these ladies on Instagram or Facebook, change that, they are amazing, so sweet, and kind, and they love their readers.
