Thank you Putnam Books for gifting me a copy of this book, in exchange of an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I give this book a 3.5 out of 5 Stars.
The concept of this book is very depressing right? The idea of living alone, and dying alone. Than you take into consideration Andrews job, and it makes for one sad read. And than in walks Peggy. Peggy slowly grabs Andrew out of his world of Trains and online Train Clubs and shows him that there is life to live.
So while this book is sad, and depressing, it also has some funny parts too. It was a very creative plot, and executed well. I loved that this was such witty, and snarky read. It was such a fast read for me, because as you can tell I red a lot of Thrillers, so this one was the perfect change of pace. I think it’s kind of like a coming of age story, except the character is in his 40’s. He just waited a little longer to live life. Reading this book, made me very grateful for my own life.
This Book is out May 28th. I have included the Goodreads link below.
