Book Review Of “I’ll Be Watching You” By Courtney Evan Tate @HarlequinBooks @TLCBookTours #MIRA @courtneycolewrites

In an unthinkable flash, Emmy Fisher’s fifteen-year-old daughter, Leah, seemingly drowns close to shore one summer night—at least that is what the police report says.
In deep grief, Emmy needs time and courage before she can enter Leah’s bedroom. But when she does, she finds something at first bewildering, then unspeakable, as she begins to understand the full implications…
She uncovers evidence that Leah had been secretly involved with someone, someone perhaps older, someone with dark appetites.
Bit by bit, the last few months of Leah’s life unfold in a terrifying way that Emmy can hardly imagine.
All she knows is that she has to find the person who took her sweet daughter’s innocence. No matter the cost.
The truth will set her free. Or bury her.

Thank you TLC Book Tours and Mira Books for gifting me a copy of this book, and inviting me on to the Blog Tour. All opinions are my own.

I rate this book a 4 out of 5 Stars.

I love Thrillers, and I find myself drawn to a lot of them, but what made me want this book, was the fact that the Author also wrote one of my favorite books from last year “Saving Beck” So I needed to know what her Thriller side was like.

I am impressed! This was exactly how I like my Thrillers, fast, dark, gritty, suspenseful, and to the point. Not 500 pages in length and over detailed. I loved this book so much. Loved the unreliable characters, the extremely well written POV’s., the predator was dead on creepy too. I was flying through this book, I was addicted quickly and then I craved that satisfaction of finishing it, and seeing how this all panned out. Well done Courtney, I am anxiously awaiting your next book!

  1. I really want to read this one because while thrillers aren’t my first pick of book, anything that scares me as a parent I’m all in for. Go figure. Ha! Thanks for being on this tour. Sara @ TLC Book Tours
