Book Review Of “We Are (Not) Friends) By Anna Kang Illustrated By Christopher Weyant @AmazonPub #TwoLions

Two fuzzy friends are having a fun playdate when a new pal hops in. As the day continues, each friend feels left out at times. It isn’t so easy to figure out how to act when everything seems to change. With humor and heart, the beloved characters from Theodor Seuss Geisel Award winner You Are (Not) Smallnavigate a friendship triangle as only they can.

Thank You Two Lions for gifting my boys of copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. All opinions are our own.

Liam and Gavin rate this book all the thumbs up!

Mommy rates this book five big shiny stars.

First off, my boys are twins, and when one of them plays with someone else, the other starts to feel sad, and left out, so to be sent a book that has that very same subject matter, was perfect. It was a good tool to use to explain to my boys the emotions they are feeling. Like the animals in this book, my boy have started realizing that it’s really fun to make friends, and when everyone can get along, it’s even better.

We loved the the illustrations, the formatting of the pages, and the plot is just very cute, and a big moral dilemma that many kids face growing up. I really love the You Are (Not) Small series. We have read them all, and really enjoyed them. I love Children’s Books, they are so fun, and innocent, and I love sharing them with my boys.
