Blog Tour and Book Review Of “The Liar’s Room” By Simon Lelic @BerkleyPub
Thank you Berkley Pub for gifting me an E-ARC in exchange of an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I rate this book a 3 out of 5 Stars.
Great concept, great pace, very interesting main characters. This was a very unique way to tell the story, and I think it was executed well. I enjoyed it, and found it easy to follow along.
Have you every had a book that made you feel tense? Like you feel stressed, and anxious reading it? That’s how I felt with this book, kind of similar to waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was a very exciting read. Love that the Author thought out of the box, and spun the story in such a creative way. To bring readers another thriller, one that will stand out amongst others.
Also, I love that this book took place during a span of hours, not days. So for me it felt like it read much faster. Which as an avid reader, I totally appreciated that approach. I found myself reader faster, and later into the night, because I was so intrigued with how this was all going to turn out. I loved the unreliability of the characters in this book, and the way they kind of make you question everything.
