I give this book 3 out of 5 Stars.
I am a total 80’s girl at heart. 80’s movies, music, clothing, language, I am here for it. So to be sent a book based off of one of my favorite 80’s movie “Pretty In Pink” I was in heaven, and I was so excited to start it. Also, love that it was crossed with Groundhog Day. I am a big John Hughes fan, so to see him mentioned in this book so frequently, was fantastic. Not to mention the mention of my other favorite 80’s movies. Breakfast Club anyone? Sixteen Candles? Yes! In love.
This book was just so cute, fairly predictable, but sweet nonetheless. I felt like I was on a journey through my childhood. I this that this book did an amazing job getting the 80’s pop culture from pen to paper. If you guys are looking for a fun, light hearted read, pick this one up, and do not wait!
This book had me totally sold, at Pink Polka Dot Dress, and #TeamDuckie
