Blog Tour And Book Review Of “Deep Blue Trouble” By Steph Broadribb @OrendaBooks @crimethrillgirl
Single-mother Florida bounty hunter Lori Anderson’s got an ocean of trouble on her hands. Her daughter Dakota is safe, but her cancer is threatening a comeback, and Lori needs JT—Dakota’s daddy and the man who taught Lori everything—alive and kicking. Problem is, he’s behind bars, and heading for death row. Desperate to save him, Lori does a deal, taking on off-the-books job from shady FBI agent Alex Monroe.
Bring back on-the-run felon, Gibson “The Fish” Fletcher, and JT walks free. Following Fletcher from Florida to California, Lori teams up with local bounty hunter Dez McGregor and his team. But Dez works very differently to Lori, and the tension between them threatens to put the whole job in danger. With Monroe pressuring Lori for results, the clock ticking on JT’s life, and nothing about the Fletcher case adding up, Lori’s hitting walls at every turn. But this is one job she’s got to get right, or she’ll lose everything. (From Goodreads)
Orenda Books, thank you for the free copy and the invitation to join the blog tour. All my opinions are my own.
I rate this book a 4.5 out of 5 Stars.
I love Orenda Books, I am pretty sure you all know that by now. I have not received one terrible book, in all the time that I have been reading their books, this one right here is no different.
I have not however read Book One in this series, however that really didn’t affect my ability to read it and follow along with the story. So I’d say yes it could work as a stand alone, however in that same breath, I would have loved to have read the first one, and than this one, because this one is so brilliant, and cleverly written. I want to know everything about Lori, and Dakota, and even JT. They had some crazy chemistry and I was really craving more of them.
Deep Down Blue was fast paced, thrilling, and it really just grabbed me, in a way that many books don’t. I felt my fingers flying over the pages, while I devoured this book. Absolutely brilliant. I am sold as a Steph Broadribb fan, and I look forward to reading many more of her books. You know how some books just need to be made into movies? You can just see it clearly in your head? Well this is one of those books!
Deep Blue Trouble is out May 1st. 2018 I am including pre-order link below.
