Book Review Of “Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix” By J.K. Rowling

“You are sharing the Dark Lord’s thoughts and emotions. The Headmaster thinks it inadvisable for this to continue. He wishes me to teach you how to close your mind to the Dark Lord.”

Dark times have come to Hogwarts. After the Dementors’ attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter knows that Voldemort will stop at nothing to find him. There are many who deny the Dark Lord’s return, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the Dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort’s savage assaults on his mind. But they are growing stronger by the day and Harry is running out of time (From Goodreads)

I rate this book, a 5 out of 5 stars.

So here I am, finally continuing on with my first time read of the Harry Potter series, I am reading them aloud to my 4 year old’s, and I find myself falling in love with the story and the characters more than they are, it’s getting harder and harder only reading it to them, I find myself reading it alone.

This book made my heartache. I teared up quite a few times at the end, and I’m sure my little boys thought I was crazy. I cannot wait to continue on with this series. J.K. Rowling has beautiful writing, and an amazing talent. This world she has built is amazing. I finally get the fandom. I find myself joining it.

My #bookpals are enjoying every moment of witnessing me reading this for the first time, and I am so thankful I have them to talk to, and who I can explain my book love to!  And they shared my mutual disgust of Umbridge. UGH!!

Youth can not know how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty if they forget what it was to be young.”  J.K. Rowling
