Book Review Of “Good Night, Baby Animals You’ve Had A Busy Day” By Karen B. Winnick
Whether they’re dashing, splashing, munching, or crunching, baby animals are ever-exploring! At home in their natural habitats, baby animals learn about the world that surrounds them. When the fun is done, it’s time for baby animals to go to sleep. After all, every baby animal has to rest.
Full of action, sound effects, and patterned text, each story features the adorable antics and accurate behavior of six wild animal babies: tiger, elephant, giraffe, rhinoceros, panda, and gorilla. This 64-page, beautifully designed story book is perfect for bedtime. (From Amazon)
Okay, so it’s safe to say my twins LOVED this book! Every page they yelled out the animal, and made the sound the animals made. “Saw at the Zoo, Mommy” Is a phrase I heard quiet frequently, while reading this brightly colored book. We live near the St. Louis Zoo, which if you don’t live near it, you wouldn’t know that it’s free, and it’s ranked in the top 5 for Zoo’s in America. So we visit weekly. My boys love animals, and they love the Zoo, so getting this book for them was a no brainer!
I don’t even have to read it, they will just grab the book and flip through the pages themselves just to see the animals. Thanks to Get Red P.R. for sending my boys and I this book to read and review. We really loved it!
