*I was given a copy of this book for free, via Egalley, for an honest review.*
I had never heard of this author, but I was drawn to the title, cover, and description. The problem I had with this book is, it was so slow, I could not for the life of me connect with the characters. I thought Lawrence was dreadful, and annoying. I didn’t really enjoy Holly’s character either. I wish I could say I enjoyed this book, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.
To me it was dull, very slow going, and not very much happened in the book, it came off as almost a very large ramble. Although I admit, I do not typically read this style of book, so I may be totally off base with the interpretation of the book as well. I do think it could be a good book for people who like this style of book (kind of a romance, chick lit, friendship story) It just wasn’t the right book choice for me.
