April Owlcrate Review
This was my first Owl Crate Subscription box. I had found out the theme of the box was Dsytopian so I figured this was a “must have” box. And I will say I am not disappointed. The book is absolutely gorgeous, and the dust jacket gives off a foggy appearance.
Included was the Book “Flawed” by Cecilia Ahern- Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.
But then Celestine encounters a situation in which she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule and now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found FLAWED.
In her breathtaking young adult debut, bestselling author Cecelia Ahern depicts a society in which perfection is paramount and flaws are punished. And where one young woman decides to take a stand that could cost her everything. (From Amazon)
Next I received a decal from the Maze Runner series, It says WCKD and it was made by “Shailey Ann Designs” (I have never read the series, and I do not like to put stickers or decals on my laptops, so I gave it to my son.)
The beautiful Mockingjay bracelet is made by “The Geeky Cauldron”, I gave this to my daughter. I do not wear a lot of jewelry other than my wedding rings.
There was also a cute Notebook from “Manuscript” and Poster by “Halfblood Prints” and an awesome Shatter Me themed coaster made from “Evie Bookish”.
It was a nice book box to try out once. But I don’t think I would order again, (I accidentally forgot to cancel my subscription, so I am getting May’s Steam Punk themed box) I was impressed with the quality of items that were included in the box, and I loved that they were shipped Priority Mail and it only took two days to reach me in the mail. The Price of the box is $29.99 plus $6.99 shipping. If interested in signing up the website is www.owlcrate.com
