April Yureka Book Subscription Box
I signed up for a Yureka Book Box Subscription, and from the very beginning I was impressed. During the process, you take a quiz. You answer questions regarding your favorite books, your least favorite books, your favorite and least favorite genre. It is very in depth. They then use that information and match your book box to include something that suits your style. Once you get your book box (I got mine today, They ship from New Jersey) you then can go on the website and rate what you were sent, before reading. Once you have read your books, you can then review them on the website as well. This helps the book matching process. I feel like I should also add, they donate part of the proceeds to local libraries, which I think is fantastic. I am very impressed with both book selections. I read a lot of different styles, but Yureka did great at selecting these.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF MONTHLY YUREKA SUBSCRIPTIONS.
2 paperback books
1 hardcover and 1 paperback book OR 3 paperback books
1 hardcover and 2 paperbacks OR 4 paperback books
I chose the $15 subscription with 2 paperback books. Included in my package was two bookplates, a magnetic bookmark (which was very cute) A handwritten note, explaining why my books were chosen and welcoming me to the club. I also got a wonderful poster, with a quote on one side, and a map on the other. (From the Winners Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski) And my two books, which I will describe below, via Amazon
This Song Will Save Your Life, By Leila Sales- Making friends has never been Elise Dembowski’s strong suit. All throughout her life, she’s been the butt of every joke and the outsider in every conversation. When a final attempt at popularity fails, Elise nearly gives up. Then she stumbles upon a warehouse party where she meets Vicky, a girl in a band who accepts her; Char, a cute, yet mysterious disc jockey; Pippa, a carefree spirit from England; and most importantly, a love for DJing.
Told in a refreshingly genuine and laugh-out-loud funny voice, Leila Sales’ THIS SONG WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE is an exuberant novel about identity, friendship, and the power of music to bring people together.
Because of Low, By Abbi Glines- Playboy Cage owns the apartment, and he hosts a revolving door of people, in and out, at all times. Most of them are long-legged hot girls who are never there more than a night or two. When Cage’s new roommate, Marcus, enters the picture, he’s just looking to nurse a broken heart. But there’s one particular semi-frequent regular who catches his eye.
Willow—“Low”—is the one Cage wants to marry. But the two of them are night and day, and Marcus can’t see how Low puts up with all of Cage’s womanizing. What she really needs is a real man….like good-looking and sensible Marcus. But that’s going to get real complicated and real messy—real fast.
